How women meet Mr. Wrong

A film graduate who is pursuing a writing career, I am working on a television series about human relationships. One of my main characters is called Saffron. A pretty and successful career woman, she is very desperate for a man. She needs a man so that she can move on with her life. Instead of being selective, she randomly picks men who are willing to be with her. As a result, she ends up with Mr Wrong all the time.

Here are stories of her inappropriate boyfriends:

The pilot episode would start off with Saffron and her long-term boyfriend, Oliver. He was good-looking, well-mannered, smart and successful. Then she discovered the truth about him. He was a closeted homosexual or bisexual. Feeling disgusted and betrayed, she broke up with him.

Nico was an overseas student who was pursuing a masters' degree in a creative media course. When he proposed to Saffron, she was in a state of delirium. She excitedly broke the good news to her family and friends. Then while preparing for the wedding, she discovered his primary reason for wanting to marry her: so that he could get an immigration visa to live in her country. Feeling used and betrayed, she ended the relationship.

Rick was a businessman who came from a wealthy family. However, his parents did not like Saffron. One night, after telling Saffron he loved her, Rick had a meeting with his parents to discuss the family business and inheritance. They said that he had to choose between her and his family inheritance. Eventually, he chose money over her.

Gareth and Saffron had a lot in common. They could not stop talking to each other. However, things were to change when she learnt that he could not behave in higher society. He dressed inappropriately and he had impolite manners. After enough embarrassment, she dumped him.

Berg was a man whom Saffron met in the airport lounge. He had blonde hair and dazzling blue eyes. Some time later, a woman showed up at Saffron's place. Katharina was Berg's live-in girlfriend and they had an illegitimate child. It turned out that Berg was a CIA who was leading a double life. Feeling betrayed, Saffron terminated her relationship with him. However, he still wanted to be with her because he no longer loved Katharina. A woman scorned, Katharina shot Berg.

Kenneth seemed like a gentleman who had good manners and knew how to treat a lady. However, he had a fowl temper. He would react violently to adversity. One night, he lost control, and a passer-by came to the rescue. Saffron ended her relationship
