The region of Middle East throughout the history was and still is to this moment the most turbulent area in the world. This part of the world is the origin of humanity and most of the religions. For that reason, a lot of powerful countries consider that region a very good card to play when they need it. The President of the United States, Mr. George W. Bush, is one of those who believe that. He is trying very hard to save his 8 years of ruling America and the whole world by solving the most complex conflict in the entire world.
He started by Israel. He gives a very cheerful and supporting speech to the Jews. Presumably he knows exactly what people in Tel Aviv want to hear. Mr. Bush told them that he supports and defends Israel with its fight with Arabs. However, he wanted the government of Mr. Olmart to go and sit at a table with Mr. Abbas to discuss their common problems. Mr. President of America is very optimistic about finding a magic solution to Palestine-Israel conflict by the end of his period this year.
After Israel, Mr. Bush went to Palestine. He met Mr. Abbas and gave a speech of hope but rebuked Palestinians of not doing enough to make peace a reality. He even blamed Iran to be behind Hamas and El Jihad. Furthermore, he urged them to put more energy and to be willing into the peace process, as he called it. People in Gaza were not optimistic as the first man of Washington. They knew that he went there for improving his reputation in the Arab world and to leave his finger prints by solving their troubles.
Mr. President of the USA ended up his visit to the Middle East by his allies countries like Emirate, Kuwait and, Saudi Arabia. Certainly, the people of these countries did not welcome him as their governments did. Like he did in Israel and Palestine, He gave a rhetoric, and he did not forget to sing his favorite song. The lyrics of his song are about Iran and, specifically, the threat of its nuclear project to the security of that region and the world in general. Also, he demanded from these countries to isolate Iran and help him to fight that devastating evil.
For the president of the United States as always, his visit was a total success like he said about invading Iraq. Unfortunately, the results and the consequences will prove that his last visit to the Middle East was a total failure. He had ruined the reputation of his country internationally like he did with its economy. The only reason why he visited these countries is to improve his own reputation besides seeking a historical moment which he will never have. History will always mark his ruling by the catastrophic era of the United States of America.
