The cheerful city of San Diego enjoys a high temperature in the 70's during the day and a low of 65 in the summers. With these types of temperatures making conditions right for the best summertime fun, it makes sense to visit from June until August and have a whole lot of it. You will also have blue skies and lots of sunshine and very, very minimal rainfall. For this reason, it is a wonderful time of the year to enjoy all that it has to offer, which is plenty.

Special events include going on whale watching excursions, taking a cruise or enjoying the fireworks show during the 4th of July. You might also want to try taking a hot air balloon ride during this time of the year or simply enjoying some much needed relaxation on the white, sandy beaches of the shore. Bring a book to read or a sketchbook and draw a picture of the scenic area. Other ideas that you might want to consider are learning how to rock climb, surf or scuba dive, just to name a few. Don't forget to bring all your beach gear so that you can enjoy plenty of activities when you visit the beach. Include picnic utensils so that you can have a picnic on the beach.

Summer in San Diego is truly wonderful. An experience you are sure to remember for a long time and one that you will want to relive over and over again.
