days and bad days fill in the calendar of a long term relationship but think about that from both your perspective and that of your partner. Just how happy are you?

That answer may be telling, and while your answer may make you more likely or less likely to have infidelity enter your relationship don't automatically assume that it already has. Should you look for the obvious signs of a cheating partner? Yes, signs such as emotional distance, a waning interest in sex, or defensive and secretive behavior in general or regarding there computer, phone, or other tech savvy ways of conducting an affair are just some of the telltale signs that something may be up. Absent those symptoms though don't be so sure that you are in the clear. It's likely that something in your relationship triggered your suspicion in the first place and to ignore that now could be at your relationships peril.

Instead involve your partner in investigating those issues (perhaps without letting them know of your suspicions), and work with them to resolve your problems while opening up the lines of communication. Lets face it, there is never going to be a point where busy schedules will allow you both to spend the amount of time together that you want, and he or she is never going to read your mind and know exactly what you mean. And as for sex? Well god knows the sex won't be as frequent as when you started dating. But together you can work towards improving your relationship and hopefully find solutions that work for both of you. and be better for it.
