Store reviews: A.C. Moore

I discovered A.C.Moore while on vacation in New York State several years ago. To say I was delighted with the selection and impressed with the prices and value is an understatement. I did have one regret while shopping; I was sorry that I didn't have my big van instead of the compact car we had driven up to New York State in. As it was, my husband was hard pressed to close the trunk of the car and find room in the back seat for our personal belongings.

A.C.Moore has since opened a store closer to my home so I only have to travel thirty minutes to get to it instead of five hours. I've shopped a lot of stores that offer craft and hobby items, as well as seasonal products and specialty items, but I've never seen a more complete line of products than those offered by A.C.Moore.

When the founders of the company started out in 1985, I wonder if they dreamed their new venture would become so wildly popular in such a short period of time. From the first store to the over 130 stores across the northern part of the company, A.C.Moore has become the number one store for serious crafters and bakers such as myself.

That's right, you can purchase any item you need for baking, and A.C.Moore carries Wilton products as well as other brand names. You can find everything from pans to fondant, and I love being able to find everything I need for a wedding, shower, birthday or anniversary cake all under the same roof!

As for the craft end of my shopping, A.C.Moore is the only place I have found where everything I'm looking for is available, priced right or on sale, and easy to find. I'm completely sold on A.C.Moore and their products. I've never had a negative experience, and the sales staff and associates are highly trained, courteous and friendly.

Plan to spend a few hours in an A.C.Moore store if you're a serious shopper; there's so much to see that you need time to look at everything. No matter when you go to an A.C.Moore store, you'll always find bargains. The after Christmas sales make me feel like a kid in a candy store with a fist full of dollars!

If you haven't taken the time to check out an A.C.Moore store, try to get to one soon, and believe me, you'll be as impressed as I was, and still am. A.C.Moore is here to stay, and growing bigger every day. I spend so much money there, I really should look into buying stock in A.C.Moore. Happy shopping!
