soft are the sighs and warm are the thighs surrounding
enclosing, weighing down the feathers in the duvet
bright is the light and blue is the day
shining outside the window pane
loud is the laughing echoing down the hall
rattling in the kitchen kettle boils and whistles
still nestled in the bed thoughts and signs ramble in my head.
no, not yet let them think we're still asleep
no, not yet stay, undisturbed weighted down in soft sighs and softer thighs
the day intrudes, nothing we can do
it always feels like home nestled here with you.

Poetry: It feels like home with you
Leo the Lion
Through the jungle air it sounded
The high-pitched tone of crying
All the animals nearby were astounded
It was
You make me want to be me
The me I don't really let anybody see
Who I came to be
Underneath my shield and sheets
That I
I love you like an old country song.
With cowboy hats and long
stretches of empty highway
on a lonely moonlit night
in a rumbling
Home
Rushing home from work,
Now and then theirs a quirk.
The door won't open,
The neighbors will grin.
Neighbors dog will dig,
Not
by S Barnard
It feels like home with you
Can't imagine living
Without you
Your greeting at the door
Love declared once more
Running Round
