Back in September of 2007, I decided to stop wrestling with employers in my efforts to find a job and start earning some money online. It isn't as easy as you are probably told to believe.
After doing several searches through Google and Yahoo, I quickly realized that whatever I found to do online that's legitimate, it would be extra money that I would be making. I could not assume or expect to make enough to actually live on. I saw several testimonials saying that $3000 was being made per month. Maybe this is really happening but if so, these people aren't doing anything else in their lives and probably aren't even taking time to sleep. As it is, I'm spending about 5 hours online trying to earn this extra money and what I'm seeing come my way is under $100 per month.
Nevertheless, because of my situation, I keep on plugging away at my online endeavor and have found some honest websites to deal with. I work with two GPT (Get Paid To) sites, three PTR (Paid To Read) sites, and two article content sites.
GPT Sites
CashCrate is extremely popular. I think I see more positive blog entries at Bloggers, WordPress, and LiveJournal about this site than any of the other GPT ones. I can assure you that they do pay out. I've received two checks from them to far and am expecting a third one in about ten days from now. Their payout minimum is $10. They also have a well laid out website that is easy to navigate and a forum that is quite active. The one drawback with them is that they send payment only by regular mail.
TreasureTrooper is the other GPT site I belong to. Approved offers don't come as quickly with them but they are reputable. Their website is also well laid out with easy navigation. Their forum isn't quite as helpful as the one at CashCrate. I've received one payment from them through PayPal. You can opt to have your payments mailed to your physical address if you prefer that. Their minimum payout is $20.
PTR Sites
InboxDollars and SendEarnings are PTR sites that are quite similar. After signing up, they send emails to your email inbox that have link for you to link. This is how you earn. Both pay $.02 per email that is completed by you. You are not required to do surveys or cash offers but they do have a few at their websites. Usually two emails come into my inbox per day from both sites. Every once in awhile there'll be three emails. Both have a minimum payout of $30 and is through PayPal.
The third PTR I belong to is Hits4Pay. They work a little differently that InboxDollars
