I have three younger sisters, so I've done a lot of shopping for teenage girls, I know, that when I asked, " what would you like for a gift." They would say, " Anything that's pretty or nice, you know what I like."
So I think it depends on each girl, we are all different, some may get a love-gift of money, and think, " WoW, I'm in heaven..lets go shopping!" But for others, it more of recieving a direct "object" or "thing" that will make their day. It just depends on what type of girl she is.
But gift ideas are countless, you can give money, clothes, jewerly ( girls love to match jewerly to their outfit), shoes ( a plus), handbags ( for those who love purses), giftcard ( for the shoppers), book ( for the readers, maybe a favorite, or classic one), cell phone ( for the older girls) , throw them a wild Party ( maybe for the 15th or 16th birthday girl) , new bed room set ( girls love a brand new look) , flowers ( for the flower lover), a coupon to get hair/nails done ( all girls love to be pampered). And the list goes on, but it's the thought that counts, not the cost of the gift!
