The purpose of ley lines

they cross, the power in that location is intensified.

Most of us who have gotten close to an electricity generating plant, or who have walked under high-tension power lines, have felt the power flowing in the lines. In a similar way, people coming in close contact with the convergence of two or more ley lines can feel the power. It is often in the form of a strange tingling sensation or an unexplained feeling of euphoria.

Ancient peoples knew about the ley lines. The number of edifices, cities, shrines, and temples that were built on convergence points is truly staggering. For instance, the Incas built many cities and temples directly upon a convergence point, or nexus. The pyramids of Giza are built upon another. Stonehenge was erected on yet another. Even the American Indians knew of the nexus points. Nearly every great civilization, in fact, has recognized their presence, with the possible exception of our own.

Research has been done and continues, sometimes even with open-minded scientists that refuse to reach a conclusion until more data is found that would warrant it. More and more scientists, though, are concluding that the lines do exist, even if they aren't yet clear about the nature of the power that is found there.

Shamans, though, have long used the ley line convergence points as a tool, as the power in these locations seems to thin out the barrier between this plane of existence and the spiritual planes.

What is the purpose of ley lines? I'm afraid that to answer that, we'd have to ask mother earth, since that is the source. However, it is for sure that they can be used for purpose. Ancient civilizations have shown us that.

It is just a pity that we are not as advanced and enlightened as they were.
