food, but the rat didn't know exactly where it was. He has certainty and uncertainty working together. The rat went with what stimulated him, a conditioned response. Let us expand this, let us say the maze was the size of a football field, the rat would keep searching until it found that cheese. If the rat was hungry would it quit and think "I have been walking around for 10 minutes now and I can not see the cheese I think I will stop looking for it." Absolutely not, that rat will continue to look until it finds the cheese, no matter how far it is or how long it takes, especially if it is motivated by hunger.

Well maybe some people should learn something from this little experiment. Certainty is a trigger for motivation and we don't have to be100% certain about everything. Success and its pursuits are the same, we can be certain in an emotional sense and partially on the logical plane, but there is always the outside chance we are barking up the wrong tree. If we have certainty that we can make our goal we would simply adjust our approach or make certain changes and find another tree to climb.

Certainty and success goes hand in hand, the same as certainty and failure. If you are certain that you are going to fail, you will. It is a simple mindset, if your believe you are headed to failure, even though your are headed for success, you will fail. Your body, mind and spirit only obeys' your emotional state. Think about that.

Is certainty a necessary ingredient for success? You bet it is. No certainty in success equals committed failure. Pure and simple! You can have a logical representation for success but we make our decision solely off emotion and justify or rationalize with logic. Success must contain certainty, should it not, failure is evident. Feel successful and that is what you will attract to your life.
