This is a no brainer ! Of course a valid /legal identification card should be mandatory for all us citizens! Voting is a right to all U.S. citizens and should not be handled the way it is handled today , Every election you always here about unregistered and illegal aliens voting , How this is happening is truly astounding ! Usually you here how the Democratic party is always pining for the illegal vote , they always say " well they live here so they should be able to vote " this is so wrong in so many ways ,but every election you here about it ! I see it as selling out the American people ! You also here people say how this will infringe on there civil rights ,This is such a joke ,YOU need an I.D for everything else ,why not to vote ? This is not big brother trying to track your every move , nobody is trying to get you , remain calm silly ! With the rampant illegal immigration problem we face today this is so necessary . Just for the fact that eighteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers had a phony I.D. should make everyone agree ,but still people don't get it , they don't want to be "traced " by the man ,get real and get with the program . I have had a photo I.D. since I was 8 years old , it was a military I.D. I had to have because My father was in the military , when I turned 12 I had to get a California I.D. so I could work , and it was required by the state! So whats wrong with getting a real photo I.D./ drivers license ? I cant see any reasons not to ,maybe the people complaining about it are doing something wrong ? like being a terrorist or being an illegal alien , or maybe just an all around bad person . I guess we will never know until they have to get a real photo I.D. .preferably one of the new tamper proof ones they are designing that will really irritate some people especially the one's making money off of all the bad people who are looking for a fake I.D. .
