day when I noticed that she was online, I asked what she was up to, and the instant message reply was that her husband was helping her choose a new hairstyle for her mini.

Yeah, even I thought that was stretching things a little, but the innocence of it all gave me a really nice warm glowy feeling in the pit of my stomach. She is still my little girl busy playing make believe.

I found myself silently wishing a little wish for all those other souls playing make believe in an array of those "not so nice" make believe worlds online. "Please if you have to pretend that you are someone other than who you are than gosh, pretend with all the wonder and innocence of a child, to really be a child again. If you didn't get a chance to be a kid the first time around then please take this opportunity to let yourself be one now". Get out there and play. Really truly play just as a child would. Capture what you may have missed that first time around and learn how to be a kid again. Grab on to that innocence, and enjoy it, because there is just no other feeling on this Earth that can equal it.

Thank you Pogo and all the other companies that help create a safer Internet experience for those who visit here. It would sure be nice if a few more Online sites would change their current pattern of doing business and do the same. Perhaps then there wouldn't be so many negative effects of the Internet occurring. Just maybe the Internet would be a much safer place for people to work and, for kids of all ages, to go to play.
