Problems in nursing homes
Article ToolsI am a care Assistant in a Nursing home and been working there for 8 months now and have found out alot about what goes on in the nursing homes in the u.k. The places where you send your mums and dads or any part of your family. The clients alot of the times get lifted instead of being hoisted witch is not only bad for your health but worse for your client. The nursing home where i work is not staffed properly so with 53 clients that stay there for care and only 9 staff in the day and 7 of a everning. Its hard work!. The staff have to keep up with the work load and that meens cutting corners and doing things as quickly as possible. The wages are poor very poor indeed mybe if the goverment and the companys took into considoration how mutch we work they would give us a pay rise and the people working in the care industry would not phone in sick and do there jobs properly.!
