Exercises you can do at work

Do you have no time for exercise? Well believe it or not you have plenty of time for quick workouts and stress relieving exercises. It is very hard for society today to work, have a family life and still have time for the things to keep you healthy. Did you know that there are several things that you can do at work to that are considered exercising? Some places are not as fortunate as others so if your employment does not have a gym please consider this article a boost to get your blood flowing.



When you arrive at work do you park the closest to the building? Well start your day with a brisk walk. If you work in the city park a few blocks away. If you work in rural area, park your vehicle in the back as far as you can. Those few extra steps will benefit you in the long run. Once you get in the building you need to consider your pathway to your designated work spot. If you work on the third floor of a building instaed of taking the elevator try taking the stairway on occasion. Be safe if you have your hands full of bags wait until you unload before tackling the stairway. If you have time during a break go up and down the stairs a few times not only is it a cardio work out but it strengthens your leg muscles.

When it comes to computer jobs you are limited to space to work out. There are a few things that you can do at the desk to keep the blood flowing. To help relieve stress and to stretch those neck muscles you slowly rotate your neck to the left then the right slightly extending. If you have a rotating chair place your hands on the desk then use your abdominal muscles to rotate the chair to the left then to the right. While you are standing or sitting tighten up those buttock muscles to help keep your tush in shape. If your job limits you please remember to always get up and stretch those legs on occasion.

It is very important to keep fit in today's society. When time is precious there are always alternatives to just going to the gym to keep in shape. Please remember that a fit employee is usual a happy employee and more alert to their job duties. Eat healthy and have a happy new year.
