six games played by you, your favorites, then another graphic link for another new game.
Below all the graphics, you will see a tertiary section (bottom) containing three alphabetized lists of text links: All games, all categories, and other sections of the site. This third section will always appear, but is collapsible.
Overall, the site navigation is excellent, offering more than one way to get to your chosen game, or simply browse. Each game is no more than two or three clicks from the home page. However, a first-time visitor might be put off by the carnival-like visual overload.

Miniclip features the following game categories: 3D, 5 Minute (In a hurry), Action, Brain Training, Christmas, Dancing & Shows, E-Rated (Everyone), Hot, Latest, Learning, Motorsports, Multiplayer, Nintendo Wii, Platform, Political, Puzzle, Racing, Retro, Shoot Em Up, Soccer, Sports, and Top 100. Many games can be found in more than one category. For instance, "Ice Slide" is both a Christmas game and an Action game, and "Dancing Hillary" is both a Political game and a Dancing game.
Other sections of the site are the game store, merchandise, new game alerts, free website games, and downloadable games. Beyond the gaming site, Miniclip also provides cartoons and e-cards.
== Target Audience ==
Miniclip welcomes all gamers, from beginners to amateurs to hardcore, but targets teenagers. All of the games are suitable for all ages, or at least those who can click a mouse. Miniclip boasts being the "largest online game site," a claim that is entirely believable; even the extremely picky would find it tough to move on without at least checking out a couple of games.
Links at the bottom of each page take you to translated versions of the site, ten in all. This proves Miniclip's global awareness.
