The weather seems to having trouble making up its mind about what it would like to do. Usually in January you know that it will be cold and you need long sleeves. Not in Mississippi or a lot of other places. Today, January 10, it went from beautiful to nasty in a matter of minutes. Rain came by buckets instead of inches. I love rain, by the way, I live in a flood zone! Then we stated getting all kinds of warnings and watches. We had Tornado Watches, Tornado Warnings, and Thunderstorm Warnings. We had a huge thunderstorm. I missed the tornadoes though. Thank goodness for that. If I would have had to get out of here in a hurry I would have been in trouble. I went to go outside after it was all over and to my surprise I could not get out of the house. A piece of fiberglass roof had fell and got in between the door and the frame of the porch. I was stuck. Luckily, we have a back door. We ended up getting some rough weather. The radio station said that it demolished Caledonia Elementary School and that a school bus was actually on top of it. They said that as far as they knew there were no injuries. I wonder why we are having tornadoes. Last week the temperature was in the 20's and 30's and this week the temperature was in the 60's and 70's. Talk about a BIG difference in the climate change. I love the warm weather but this up and down on the climate change sure isn't good for trying not to get sick. It is so unpredictable it is not funny. For all I know it could snow in the next few days. Anything sure seems possible at the moment. Maybe it will become normal again in a few days. I assume that I a not the only that thinks that way. After all the gripes and complains, I would just like to say that I a grateful for not getting weather as bad as it could have been. I a grateful that I a okay!
