endlessly, drink the finest wines, indulge in the best food available, collect treasures, and cavort tirelessly with "the beautiful people" -in company that searches fruitlessly and smiles endlessly under the influence of excessive consumption.
You may scream around hairpin curves in shiny red $200,000.00 sports cars for excitement or challenge great mountains that only the elite can afford to travel to. If you prefer water sports, sail around the world in 300 ft. luxury yachts, or just stay beach-side at home in penthouse apartments with gold-plated doors, spas and marble. Flush the toilet with a solid gold knob.
Does that potential fun , excitement, and excessive lifestyle guarantee one's happiness? No.
Would it be interesting to experience the possibilities and have the choice to find out?
Of course.
To understand what money actually does is paramount. Other than basic survival, money allows us to make personal choices.
The fact is, one should choose carefully.
One does not eat money, or sleep well on money-bags. Money cannot buy honesty, character, sincere love, or genuine friendship. Most importantly, money will never buy respect of any human being other than the devious and the envious who wish to achieve the status of the elite and wealthy themselves -as lovers of money.
Money is handy but it cannot buy health. It can buy health services, but remedial services that include nips, tucks, physical enhancements of excess and "fountain of youth" vitamin injections, fall very short of personal , natural, radiant health.
Money fails to purchase genuine good will, kindness, charity, or happiness. Those processes require philanthropy, a direct contradiction of the mandate of the majority of the wealthy
-which is to accumulate, concentrate, and keep wealth for their own benefit.
"The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" is a constant truth in most societies, regardless of political ideology. World-wide, money can be used to purchase political influence and effect questionable authority and change that is beneficial to those wishing to accumulate more money. Eternally, we need to become ever richer.
Therein lies part of the problem. The problem of generation and accumulation of money is timeless.
Once bitten by the bug', one must continue to accumulate more money. For many people, "more" is never enough. Morality begins to be drawn into the equation. Exactly what are human beings capable of doing to achieve wealth? The answer is, at any cost, virtually anything.

Choices. It is that simple. Make them wisely.
