Everything you need to know about money

Money is handy stuff.
Having enough money is essential. Most people never have quite enough to do everything they want to do. It seems to come easily to some people, and to others, it is impossibly elusive. Some people dream of becoming rich and even become obsessively preoccupied with achieving that goal.

"The love of money is the root of all evil" is a famous quotation that is often misquoted and expressed as "money is the root of all evil".

It is debatable if money in itself is evil; without doubt it can be put to good use, but the influence it has on people who come to love it exclusively in their lives is not an appealing aspect of wealth.

The concept of becoming exceedingly rich may be the source of many dreams, goals, and aspirations, but in reality, the achievement of excessive wealth and subsequent generation of endless greed that inevitably follows is singularly it's most significant negative characteristic and also, therefore, the most important caveat about money.

Humanity has used money and wealth for everything, good and bad, beneficial and harmful, even to the buying and selling of persons. Women, children, babies, slaves, and virtually all other human beings with souls could be purchased and owned.
In ancient cultures it was common practice to take wealth to the grave to ensure riches in the afterlife; in the extremes of ancient Egypt all of the accouterments of the rich were enclosed in the pyramids at death including gold, food, possessions, wives, and slaves.

Considering that King Tut's golden treasures were found with his preserved remains, it can safely be assumed that his wealth was forgotten, ignored, unimportant, insignificant, or was merely of no use on the "other side".
The lesson observed may be that money and wealth is to be considered part of the existing physical world, not the spiritual.
If that is the case, why bother collecting and accumulating wealth?

In the modern world it is often reasoned that you can buy virtually anything on earth if you have collected enough money. Material goods immediately come to mind if only because of the societal trend to extreme materialism.

Materialism seems to be the sole driving force of today's society. Does materialism cause happiness? Are we missing something? Undoubtedly, at times, money can be used for good deeds, but even the best of intentions can be distorted with the influence of enough money.

Clearly, if you are wealthy enough, you can travel the world
