How to help spread the word about Helium

If you're writing articles for Helium in the first place, that implies you are a creative person by nature, so get creative!

One excellent method to use is to put a signature line in every email you send out. It can be a link to one of your articles on Helium (thus boosting your residual income at the same time as spreading the good news about the site), or it can link to any other page you desire.

Many people write about Helium on their blog, and you can also provide a permanent link to the site by using one of the many buttons Helium provides for this very purpose. As your blog grows and develops more of a following, more and more people will find Helium through your recommendation. You could even host a blog purely on Helium and nothing else; why not share your experiences of the site, your successes in the writing competitions, your newest articles, and your tips and hints for maximising your earnings potential from the site.

I have done something similar to this myself, and it's great fun sharing what you have learned about the site - especially as people start to give you feedback and you find new ways of helping them.

If you have a website and you are showcasing some of your work on there, provide some links to articles you have written for Helium and add a little more information about what Helium does, and what it stands for. It's a great place for newbie writers to get started, so why not encourage them to visit and join up?

But you don't just need to spread the word online - there are plenty of offline methods you can use as well. Word of mouth is the most powerful method there is, and if you belong to a writers' group you can gain plenty of new members for Helium simply by telling them all about it.

It's merely a question of getting your thinking cap on and figuring out how to tell as many people as possible that such a terrific site exists!
