Out
It's too quiet here
And I long to be there
Outside where the wind
Blows free without care
Out where sound is heard
And trees are seen
Where the branches are gentle
And the leaves are bright green
Out where the stars
Once twinkled at night
But went into hiding
When the sun came to sight
Out where the sky
Looks a soft blue
And the grass has a sheet
Of early morning dew
Out where the clouds
Look as if to say
"I will keep your heart at peace
And never turn gray"
Out where the sun shines
And the breeze sweeps you away
This is where I belong
And this is where I shall stay
