Presentation tips:
1) Dress for success: look presentable, somewhat business-like
2) Know your topic: meaning understand the material you are presenting, If you don't get it, your audience wont either
3) Don't fidgit, don't play with a pencil, paper-clip, paper, podium...nervous movements takes attention away from the presentation
4) speak loud and clear...you want the people in the back rows to hear you and clear and audible speech is a sign of confidence
5) Don't use slang..use proper english, it shows that you are professional and know how to act in such a setting
6) Keep eye contact with the entire audience. Don't focus on one point, look around the room. That helped me when I gave presentations
7) If you have power-point, make sure your power-point is clear and concise.
8) Make an outline for your audience, so they can follow and keep notes.
