The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is not a joke. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Are the Olympics a joke? Are the Academy Awards a joke? Of course not. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame could be easily compared to the Olympics. Musicians spend their lives working toward a goal, just as anyone else does. Musicians train for hours upon hours each and every day in order to be the best at what they do. They strive towards perfection in hopes that their records will sell, and the their fans will want to see them perform. Their lives are dedicated to being the best, just as a sports figure's life is dedicated to winning games, or competitions. These musicians deserve to be rewarded, and this is where the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame comes in.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is designed to be a reward for accomplishments that have been made by musicians. Musicians work their entire lives to make songs that make people want to come see their concerts. Much of the reason for this hard work is the promise of monetary rewards. Of course they want to make millions, but that is not the only reason they do this. These musicians have worked long and hard to get where they are. They get rewarded by being admitted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The public gets rewarded in the same way as the musicians by being allowed to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to browse, and see what musicians have made it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a great thing no matter how you look at it. If you are a musician, you are always striving to get into it. You are willing to work all of your life for hopes of being inducted. It is a prestigious thing to be inducted. They don't just choose anyone. You must be deemed worthy of the Hall of Fame. As for society, we get the enjoyment and satisfaction of the chance to visit and sightsee at the Hall of Fame. For these reasons, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is and awesome place.
