If a Christian, a son of God, is not thinking positive thoughts he is back-slid, God does not have any negative thoughts.
All of God's thoughts are,

2 PURE
3 JOYOUS
4 FEARLESS
5 UNCHANGEABLE

6 PERFECT

To eliminate negative thoughts, fear, doubt, lust, anger, envy, bitterness, greed, ego, jealousy, etc. from our thought processing, we need ensure that our mental stimulus is positive and will reduce our darkness, provide more Light

Rom.12:2 "And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the RENEWING of your mind."

To attain purity of thought, to renew our minds we need put off the old man, the conditioned mental responses, controlled by the law of death, along with the infantile, perverse concepts which have been instilled into our character, personality, as a result of external influences, through our environment.
