of his entertaining play. Joe Montana is known as the greatest quarterback ever, and is remembered for "The Catch" to beat the Cowboys in the 82 NFC Championships. Dan Marino is also in the debate for best ever, but he never took his team to a Super Bowl victory. When it is all said and done, Brett will be known for his exciting play, his indestructible toughness, and his ability to create on the move. Brett Favre can roll out to either side, can evade blitzing defenders, and still make the perfect throw. He has done this time and time through out his career. Additionally he also won a Super Bowl and won three consecutive MVP awards. It is now 2008 and the 17th year he has graced us with his football presence. He can still make these exciting plays, and until he can't he should continue to play.
Each sports city in the U.S. has its own sports superhero. In Chicago it is Michael Jordan, in Iowa City it is Dan gable, and in Green Bay it Brett Favre. He will always be remembered in his adapted home of Green bay as the best quarterback to play the game. Years after he retires his jersey will still sell, posters will still hang, and statues will rise. This sports superhero, future hall of Fame inductee, and true family man has not shown any weakness. In his career he has been apart of the death of Reggie White, Cancer of his Wife, and the sad Passing of his father. Brett competed in a very emotional Monday Night Football game just one day after his father's shocking death; by the way Brett had one of his best performances throwing for 399 Yards, throwing for 4 touchdowns, and let his team to victory. Brett Favre is legend. He hasn't worn out his welcome, and is playing great. Some feel that he is hurting the fate of the Packers future by continuing to play. If you believe this I happily mention that they didn't play last week because they are in the playoffs. I feel that as long as he can lead his team to victory, and have the love of the game that he should play. Do not talk negative because one man is living the American Dream, just sit back and enjoy the show this man provides you.
