Recycling Craft ideas are endless, look at something that you are going to throw away, and think what can I use or make out of that. Suddenly you will find that you are making or using things that were once considered garbage, and now they are useful items reborn out of your creative talent.
Nestle's quick chocolate mix now comes in different size yellow plastic containers that are rectangular in shape with rounded corners. The top is also plastic they snap off and on and make the container air tight and water proof, this makes them a much desired recyclable item. You can peel off the label and use them just the way they are in their solid yellow color or you can decorate them.
They can be used as canisters to hold tea, sugar, artificial sweeteners, and just about anything you can fit into them. If you have a boat you will find these perfect for keeping your dry condiments, "dry". The containers fit nicely into a suit case to carry your travel shampoos and other small items that might leak, or they will protect items from being smashed.

They are ideal for using in the bathroom to store cotton balls, or hair clips. They can be used to store all sorts of craft items, because they fit nicely onto shelves. They work great for transporting cookies or snacks for the kids in the car or while traveling, the smaller container fits nicely into a travel bag.
For those of you that like to bake these come in sizes and you can decorate the canister with a pretty paper you glue on around the sides and to the top. You might want to paint the sides of the top which are just about half an inch, tie a pretty ribbon around the container, put your homemade cookies or candies in, and give as a gift.

I sometimes put them in the dish washer and just let them run through a couple of cycles. (On the top wrack, so the heating element doesn't melt them.) These can be used as canisters, they are also they air tight. All plastic items can be recycled to store your items.
You can also let the children make banks out of any of the plastic containers. Tape the
