Assessing the appropriateness of the Star Spangled Banner as our National Anthem

If our people were educated today like they were 40 years ago and taught about our country and its rise form a British Colony and if we didn't have so many liberals and goof balls that are always wanting to change something for some stupid reason. IF we weren't so concerned about educating the illegal immigrants that are not from our country. this wouldn't even be a subject for discussion.

When Francis Scott Key wrote the Star spangled Banner on the deck of that British ship he could see that star spangled BANNER (Our flag) still waving in the dawn's early light. People need to learn the words and think about what it is saying about the war and how our flag proudly continued to wave after all we and it had been through.

People need to learn all the verses to our National Anthem and realize what it is really saying. At one time I knew all the verses and it used to be that a lot of times we would sing several of the verses. I think that ought top be one of the things that immigrants should have to learn before they become citizens, all the verses of our national anthem THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER that waves over the land of the free and the home of the brave.

There are people that think America The Beautiful should be our national anthem and it is a beautiful song but like I said, if people would learn their history and understand what was going on when Francis Scoot Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner, I don't think they would want to change our national anthem to something else. It has served us well all these years and it is recognized world wide, why change now? There is probably some illegal immigrant that soesn't like it and you can bet that there is a stinking lawyer some place that will try to get it changed so as not to irritate some illegal that is not even a United states Citizen and shouldn't be here in the first place.
