Ron Paul - A viable candidate for American President in November 2008

Ron Paul.
Some people may dislike Ron Paul's view on social security. He calls Social Security a "house of cards" and calls for the privatization of the system. He wrote in November 2004:
The Social Security crisis is a spending crisis. The program could be saved tomorrow if Congress simply would stop spending so much money, apply even 10% of the bloated federal budget to a real trust fund, and begin saving your contributions to earn simple interest. That this simple approach seems impossible speaks volumes about the inability of Congress to cut spending no matter what the circumstances. (Ron Paul)

Those who are in favor of big government would not agree with his policies.
Though some people do not want to take the measures it would take to fix Social Security, it is a system that is falling apart. None of the 2008 candidates have done much to address the issue but Ron Paul is making a stand for change and actually has a plan to fix it.
America needs change. It is drifting into the way that Europe has already gone, which has resulted in the state running people's lives and taxing them greatly. Ron Paul promises to bring change and has proved it by his record as a congressman. Ron Paul would be a good president for this country.
