As a body, mind and spirit living in the material world, the strongest energies we have to affect us is the gross material energy. It takes a real effort to view the world in energies and see that the ones beyond this material energy are finer and of more lasting importance.

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin: We are not a human being having a spiritual experience. We are a spiritual being having a human experience.

So what is this spiritual existence that is function in the material energies? Deep within ourselves we have a still, small voice that constantly shouts out to us to take the most spiritual of paths in all that we do. There is no spiritual path that can not be accessed by the material energies.

There is only one path and how we handle all experiences is the measure of our own personal understanding in spirituality. Each and every experience we enter into in life has the capacity to be a spiritual experience. It is all dependent upon our mind's approach to each experience.

We have relationships, we get interviewed and hired, we get fired, are all experiences of a material nature. And yet, when we learn to flow with the river of life in spirituality, we can allow each and every experience to be a part of who we are as a spiritual being.

Do we hold grudges? Do we release our anger and pain? Do we enter all things in life in fear? These can be all negative approaches to the many challenges that life dishes up.

If you faced these challenges with 'what comes around, goes around' allowing the wheel of life to bring challenge and to also release it. When we place our lives in the hands of a higher power who knows our pains and fears, we are released of holding that pain for another day. Why live in fear, when hope and joy are so readily available?
