How to efficiently search the web

Search the web is easy. Search right the web is hard. Did you know that Google is a little more than a simple search engine? It has very powerful features you should learn.

Take a look at this to search the web more efficiently

Search at Google, now to to Advanced Search. Look at all the options you see there.

With all of the words - This search searches for pages with all the words you type, but not an exact phrase.

With the exact phrase - This search looks for pages with the exact phrase.

with at least one of the words - Searches for all pages with at least one of the words you choose.

Without the words - Negative Search. Removes pages with that words.

These are more search options to filter the results even better

Language - Filter your results by different languages

Region - If you know where the place is...

File Format - .PDF .ZIP .RAR .DOC. .TXT

Date - Useful for historical information

Occurrences - If you know what happened

Domain - You can search a specific domain if you want to search only inside a webpage!

Usage Rights - You can see what the usage rights are.
