Poetry: Female humor

Created on: January 08, 2008

A SIMPLE BATH

I never take a bath
without paper and pen
my tape recorder
mystery novel
depends on what mood I'm in

Lots of bubbles
over the tub
wetting my paper
where did those words go

I turn on the timer
20 min or less
hit the cross word puzzle
if I'm at my best

My cold glass of water
fell into the tub
It must mean my bath
is just about done.

Author's comments: This is my first humorous poem.
