US elections 2008 commentary: The Democrat candidates

I had written an earlier article which commented on Barack Obama [the Democratic Candidate for President if the USA] being related to Dick Cheney [The Vice President of the USA]. According to a declaration made by Mrs. Cheney to MSNBC, the common ancestor of Obama and Cheney was a 17th century immigrant from France, whose name was Mareen Devall. It is time for another story and my response.

Kenyan Oppostion Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga declared [in an interview with the BBC] that he is a cousin with Barack Obama and the two have talked on the telephone between the times both have spent in their respective work. Obama is working in the US Presidential Campaign. Odinga is trying to help resolve the election dilemma in Kenya.

It should be stated that Obama also talked with the President of Kenya [Mr. Kibaki] expressing his preoccupation with the situation in Kenya but refrained from discussing the political situation with Mr. Odinga and Mr. Kibaki.

According to Mr. Odinga, Mr. Obama's Father was from the Luo Community in Kenya and was his Maternal Uncle. Mr. Obama's father met his wife [An Anglo-Saxon American from Kansas] while both were studying in the University of Hawaii.

After the marriage of Mr. Obama's parents, both of them divorced while Barack Obama was two years old. Mr. Obama's Father returned to Kenya and later was to die in an automobile accident. Mr. Obama's Mother eventually married an Indonesian National and she lived in Indonesia with her son before returning to the USA.

The Obama Family Tree is proof that the human race is interconnected. This serves as proof of globalization. But it does not determine who could be the best President of the USA and I could care less. Deng Xioping [a leader in China] once said: "Who cares where the Cat comes from as long as it catches Mice".

The people of the USA have in their hands to choose the best President regardless of Sex, Race, Ethnicity, Religion, and Ideology. Personally, the best President should be chosen on the basis of what they could do to address the burning issues affecting the USA.
I have my choice and party preference which is George Phillies and the Libertarian Party. I chose them because of their common sense style to the problems addressing America.
