Full, soft, smooth, plump lips are youthful and beautiful.

Over the years as the natural aging process sets in. Our lips tend to get thinner, the natural color gets lighter and often dryness creates lines and wrinkles on and around our lovely lip area.

Lip Plumping Products:

Over the years I have tried many lip plumping products and while some just don't cut it and give very little or no results. There are some wonderful lip plumping products on the market that do exactly what they say they will.

City Lips:

City lips have received the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. This product gently exfoliates dead skin cells from the lip area while plumping the lips. This is a product that I have purchased many times and was my all time favorite for about a year. The colors have cute names that are catchy, however, the colors themselves were generally not my cup of tea. They had a tendency to cover my natural color instead of enhancing it. This is why I now have a couple of other products that I prefer.

Pout:

Pout is a great little plumper. Pout lip plumper exfoliates the lip area just as City Lips does. Pout has a nice mint smell and taste that is light not overpowering. When you apply pout to your lips you will feel a slight cooling, tingling sensation. This lets you know the product is working. Your lips will feel softer and appear fuller in no time with this product. The colors offered by Pout are sheer which allows them to provide a touch of color that enhances the natural color of your lips. Pout is also available in clear if you prefer no color at all. The cool tingle will enhance your natural color without the help of any additional color.

Voluptuous:

Voluptuous and Very Voluptuous lip plumper by Victoria Secret will give you amazing lip plumping effect. The voluptuous product has a bit of a heating effect. When you apply this product you will notice a slight tingling and warming feeling. This means the product is working and plumper lips are appearing. The Very Voluptuous goes beyond warm and actually gets hot. Both products are amazing and provide plump results.

My personal favorites that I keep on hand at all times are Pout and Voluptuous. I really enjoy the cooling mint of Pout. While there are times I prefer the warmth of Voluptuous. Most often, I enjoy using Pout in the summer and Voluptuous in the winter.

Quick Plumping Trick:

Simply dampen a washcloth and use it to gently exfoliate your lips. This is done by taking a side of the cloth and moving in circular motions around all areas of the lips. When you are finished, apply moisture to your lips. This can be done with a quality gloss or Vaseline. Your lips will be softer and appear plumper almost instantly.

Thankfully, we no longer have to accept thin lips. We can have plumper, fuller, more attractive lips without having to deal with a cosmetic procedure.
