Commentary: Presidential primaries and caucuses

The Electoral College, Presidential Primaries, and the Caucuses are archaic reminders of how are elections are conducted.

The Electoral College, Presidential Primaries, and the Caucuses are used by the US Elite and their puppets in the US Mainstream Media to maintain their firm grip in power and to dictate to the public sitting in front of their television who should be the next President.

Examples of the abuses are the exclusion of the Libertarians such as George Phillies from the center of debate. George Phillies has such great concepts which includes withdrawal from foreign commitments and concentrating on the domestic issues. The reality is that George Phillies is not heard and the people who are mediocre [including the US Mainstream Media] are heard. George Phillies wants Freedom, Dignity, Peace, and Responsibility.

In fact, Ron Paul [who is Republican or Libertarian when it suits him and once said Israel could last without the USA] decided to run for President as a Republican. Ron Paul had 10% of the vote in New Hampshire and was excluded from the televised debate by FOX News with the reason that "he did not match the standards" while Giuliani particpated with 4% of the vote.

Even the New Hampshire Republican Party dropped their affiliation with FOX News in response to such an outrage.

One of the Comments in New Hampshire came from Press TV: "Faux News: We distort you comply deserved to be dumped for excluding Paul. But the US Mainstream Media excludes all alternative political parties."

Of course, the caucuses and primaries have their comic vein. Mike Huckabee [Former Governor of Arkansas and Candidate for the Republican Party Nomination for President] was a joke. Huckabee talked about being an opponent of gambling yet he was seen gambling in a casino in the Iowan city of Burlington.

Huckabee went on a comic and offensive vein by referring to Pakistan as being "second to Latin America in the number of illegal immigrants to America". He continued with a proposal to "place AIDS Patients in Concentration Camps", expressed his "apologies to the Pakistani Nation" instead of condolences on the death of Former Pakistani Prime Minister Neazir Bhutto, congratulating Canada on preserving its "National Igloo", and was unaware of Iran's Nuclear Programme. This was more comedy in the primaries and caucuses than in a film made in Hollywood.

Regardless, we should do ourselves a favor and give the electoral college, caucuses, and primaries a decent burial.
