is one of my favorite semi-passive income sources. This isn't because this article was written and published for Helium. Instead it is for a few other reasons. First of all, Helium makes it amazingly easy to write for them with topics and title suggestions. It isn't that you have to stick to the titles already here, you could do your own, but it is easy to find something you know about and whip out a great article sharing your knowledge with others. Second of all, they update your earnings regularly. You can actually watch your pennies add up and turn into dollars right before your eyes. You can click the refresh button and watch them increase! I have been here five months and in that time I have seen the quality of the site go up. It's great. Of course this is truly a great passive income since you only have to write one article every 180 days to keep receiving your pay.

Associated Content
Associated Content is done a little differently, but can now be used for a passive income. The great thing about AC, as it is often called, is that you can publish all types of media on AC and get paid for the views that the material receives. AC allows you to submit written material for upfront payment consideration. If you are accepted you will be offered $3-25, though most will say it is much lower. I have published about 25 articles now for upfront payment and made between $3-7.20 each. Whether or not your article is published for upfront money or not, you can earn what they call performance pay. That is $1.50 for every 1000 page impressions that all of your articles receive. This is an easy thing to reach since all of your articles get to be added up for your to reach this amount. You simple write, publish, and sit back (of course advertising your articles helps you and AC out). The nice thing is that you get paid your up front payment right away and your performance payment at the start of the month after you have reached $1.50.

Triond
Triond works a little differently. If you get accepted with Triond (which is fairly easy to do as long as you haven't already published the article somewhere else), they will find one of their website partners to publish your content at. Then you will be paid according to impressions and the agreement with that partner. This means certain topics pay you more. I have several articles on completely different material. The medical one gets the most money for the page views it receives. Triond also lets you publish a wide variety of media including
