Is a Low Carb Diet Right for You?

Before embarking on a low carb diet, you have a few things to consider.

If you are diabetic, a low carb diet might be harmful to you, consult with your doctor before starting a low carb regime.

If you have a lot of belly fat and are extremely overweight you may have insulin resistance issues. A low carb diet can be very helpful for you

Other signs of insulin resistance are
High blood pressure
High blood glucose (but not diabetic)
High triglycerides
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

Research all you can about a low carb diet before making a decision. There is a lot more to it than just reading labels, cutting back on sugar and white flour. It's almost like joining a new religion. You should know everything about a low carb diet before you start.

The benefits are well worth the time it takes for the research.

You'll know what to expect and how to handle any "bumps in the road."

You won't panic when things don't feel "normal". You will know if what you feel is a good sign or a bad sign.

You'll be more involved with the whole process and your goals will be more solid.

You'll feel more confident.

Make reading success stories part of your research. Print them out and keep them in sight.

And remember, all good things take time. Be patient. Don't give up easily!
