Do you find it difficult to tell the one you love how you feel about them? Words and sentiments that you've decided you must tell that special person that you have difficulty verbalizing in their presence. You find yourself stumbling and muttering words you cannot say.
A love letter is one of the most beautiful ways to express how you feel about someone, making them aware of just how you view them. A love letter also makes the one receiving the letter feel special. Writing a love letter shows you have taken the time and effort to sit and think about that person.
This is a sample love letter that will ensure you express your feelings and thoughts in the right way. With Valentines Day just around the corner, a handwritten love letter would be a lovely idea.
PAPER
Purchase some stationary that has a love theme to it. Use colors of light pink, cream or soft purple. The many different types of stationary available is expansive now thanks to the scrapbooking phenomenon. Visit your local supplier and view their Valentine themes for paper with heart prints or other such graphics.
You could also purchase some heavy card stock paper; this will last longer than ordinary paper too.
HANDWRITTEN
Make sure you hand write your love letter. There is nothing more meaningful and sentimental than a handwritten letter, one in which you have taken the time to sit and write.
GET IN THE MOOD TO WRITE
In order to prepare your thoughts and focus on what you would like to say in the love letter, sit somewhere where there is soft lighting but enough so that you can see the paper. Put some soft music on in the background, and place a picture of the person you are writing to in front of you.
This will provide the right setting to prepare your thoughts on the intended recipient of the love letter.
PRACTICE
Write your first attempt on scrap or spare paper first. You may need to re-write some lines, or once you believe you have finished another thought may strike, causing you to go back again and write.
Now that we have all that out of the way, it's time to begin writing.
