fold the fabric back in half lengthwise with the right sides of fabric facing each other, using your seam allowance measure inch from the raw edge of each side of the fabric, mark if necessary and then sew. This will finish your cell phone cozy, you can turn it right side out and begin using it. You can now add embellishments a shoulder strap, a flap with button to keep the phone in or anything else you desire.

Make a knitted or crocheted cozy-
Using yarn to make your cozy is also super easy. You can use 100% wool yarn and felt the cozy or you can select from the many decorative acrylic or cotton yarns to make your cozy. You can incorporate beads or charms into your knitting/ crocheting and you can even use an advance decorative stitch to work your cozy. Basically you will need to knit or crochet a rectangle that will wrap around your phone from side to side and from top to bottom.
Choose one skein of yarn for this project or you can get several and work a bit of each skein into the pattern. You can use anywhere from a size 4- 10.5 sized needles for this depending on the yarn weight and the stitch you are using. The smaller the needles the tighter your stitches will be so choose accordingly. Anyone who has a cell phone can make their own cozy easily because they can be made in any number of fun and crafty ways, take whatever you are able to do and give it a shot! Don't be afraid to let your creativity soar! There is no right or wrong way to do this project, do what you feel because it is an expression of you! It will turn out great, just have fun!
