The One was alone.
He spoke to the emptiness
and form appeared.
Light and dark,
day and night,
land and sea,
earth and sky.
Earth begot seed
and seed became plants.
Fruits and trees covered the earth.
Stars in the night,
the sun and the moon
governed light and dark.
Birds flew,
creatures grew,
the earth teemed.
And the the One
created a man,
fashioned after Himself
with a spark of Divinity within.
Male and female he made;
to rule the world
and all of creation
to be fruitful and multiply.
And it all came to be.
The One saw it was good,
and He was pleased.
It was time to rest.
And all continued...
