There are many different ways to enjoy your retirement. If you worked hard your whole life and are now among the few and fortunate able to have a liberal time in your formative years, than cruises are a great way to spend your time, and here are my reasons.
1. It gets you out of the house- The first step is always the biggest. Sometimes when we do not have a job or anything that needs done pressingly, we will stay at home all day and not be drawn out for any reason at all. This is not healthy for mind or body.
2. Exercises- Many times we forget at our old age we need to stay fit. Getting on a seniors cruise offers a civil environment, staff that is trained to help older individuals and a group of other elder individuals, to help and motivate you.
3. Great View- There is nothing more pleasing to the eye than watching the sun set over the horizon where ocean meets sky. Simply amazing.
4. Traveling- If you were not able to travel in your younger days, or even if you had, this is a great idea. After all you may not have a very long time left on this earth to explore this earth.
5. Company and Companionship- As we get older, it is harder to meet more people your age. Most likely because 1. Most of them stay home, or are in one :). 2. It can be hard to find places to meet. A cruise can be that place. You may also be able to find companionship, if you are healthy enough for relations.
Overall, if you can, cruises should not be passed up.
