So you have visited the hairdresser and this is the first opportunity of looking in the mirror. Bad haircut? Okay you have thirty minutes to have a good sob about the disaster before we try to repair the damage.

1) Ready now? First step is to contact the salon and see if there is anything they can do to rectify the situation. If so, there is no problem. If not it is time for plan b.

2) Right, it is time for a little disguise. If the cut, sides, back or fringe is too short you can always hide that through the clever use of hair extensions or other clip-ons. These can be styled in a number of ways and will bring back the length beauty. There are even clip on tails which will give you a new look.

3) Restyling it yourself could allow you the advantage of a different look and camouflage the bad cut. Adding hair jewellery and bands might also detract from the problem as well.

4)If all else fails you could resort to a full hair wig or lock yourself away for a few days.

5) A well positioned scarf can cover a lot of hair problems
