In spring we are young
full of hopes and ideals;
innocent of all things
and dreaming of love.
Summer brings change,
family and career;
weddings and growth
and children so dear.
The fall of our lives
brings new change once again;
maturity, contentment,
finding peace in our skin.
In winter we remember
the things of the past.
How did we get here?
How did time pass so fast?
Future, past and present-
those days are soon gone.
It's time to embrace
eternity to come.
The seasons of our lives...
the course has been run.
All tasks and goals,
our life's work is done.
