Product reviews: Aquamira water bottle with filter

Cycling is a physically demanding sport. It is hard on the body and the mind. Of the many challenges you may encounter, your water bottle should not be one of them. When I chose my water bottle I wanted one that would fit in my holder, wouldn't spill, wouldn't break, and had no negative affect on the water that I drank. The bottle that I fell in love with is the Aquamira Water Bottle and filter. Don't let the word filter throw you off. It has no extra hoses or weird attachments that you will lose. The strength of the bottle I use has to be able to withstand any crash that I may encounter during a race or training. This bottle has withstood a handful of hard falls to date, and is showing no signs of leaking or cracking. Many water bottles hold various amounts of water, this one seems to hold just the right amount; holding 22 ounces of cool liquid to help me perform at the highest level I can. My favorite part of the water bottle is the polycarbonate flip cap that covers the push pull valve system. This allows me to ride in many conditions and not worry about extra ingredients picked up on the trail. Sand does not taste good when you are in need of water. If you have ever forgotten to wipe of the valve, you know exactly what I mean. In my opinion the flip cap is the best item on the water bottle. Under the flip cap is a push pull valve system that is very simple to use. You just pull it out to get some water. The one down side to the bottle is the price, but you get what you pay for. The price tag averages twenty-five dollars, but you can find sales at random shops.

I have used many different water bottles in my years as an athlete. Many of which have broken, cracked, or leaked their way into the garbage can. I have always enjoyed the strength of my Aquamira Water Bottle and the flip cap. These two elements mixed with the great fit in my bottle holder work out great, and make this bottle the best water bottle on the market for all cyclists.
