Very easy, Yahoo has a tool called Overture Traffic Estimator, it gives you the number of searches made every month for the keywords you select.

You can too buy tools to do this. There are on the Internet some very powerful tools that can give you information like you never dreamed off and these tools are very cheap!

Ebay also has a marketing research tool. Paid of course. It lets you see what people are searching and things like that.

Some software give you also the price of the keyword you are researching. Why is that important? It lets you see how profitable the market is. For example, if the advertisers are paying 1$ per click do you think that the niche doesnt make money? Of course not! Its a very profitable one otherwise people wouldnt spend their money like that.

You can also get some free software to make this, but they are not very reliable and usually only trials or has limited features or other things that will make you buy the full version. Google market research software on Google to get a huge list of advertisers trying to sell you their products.
