Wrong question. It should be WILL US voters trust the processes for counting election votes.
I lived in Florida during the 2000 election fiasco and watched the days that followed election night as the votes were counted over and over and over again. The Republicans kept telling everyone that they had won and the Democrats kept insisting that the recounts continued until they had a winning majority. It was a disaster. Eventually, the recounts were stopped as Secretary of State Kathryn Harris stepped in and announced that (at the time) Governor George W. Bush was going to receive all of the electoral votes for the state.
Whether he had the majority or not, the Democrats were upset that the state that had George W. Bush's brother as governor would determine him as the winner. They were also upset that Vice President Gore had over two million more popular votes and still lost (oddly enough in the past four elections the winner has won with less than 50% of the total popular vote).
It's the system. It's been in place for over 230 years and it's not going to go away unless we put people in Congress that are willing to change it - and they're not!
As long as there are winners in elections there will be winners. The winners will dance about in their glory and the losers will scream how the elections are fixed and they should have won.
It's pretty sad when the people that are supposed to be running our country are all acting like elementary school kids that are upset that the other kids are getting more gold stars than they are.
