a light shake to remove excess water. Next you need to gently flip the screen over onto a piece of felt to flannel so that the pulp lays face down on the fabric. When the pulp touches the felt it will release from the screen, you will allow the paper to dry now. When the paper is dry you simply peel it off the fabric and you are done!
If you are like me you have an abundance of old souvenir t-shirts that are meaningful but that you don't really wear. These can easily be made into an enjoyable, useful item that's sure to be a conversation starter a quilt! All you need is a bunch of your souvenir shirts a sewing machine or just a needle and thread. You cut the squares from your t-shirts (be sure the parts you want to save are featured in these squares) and you just sew them together. You can make a quilt as big or as small are you like or you can just start small and add to the quilt as the years pass. This is a super way to preserve your special memories and to get some good use out of your t-shirts, plus this is a great keepsake that that will share some of your life experiences. I found a jar of old corks from wine bottles under my sink a few months ago and thought it would interesting to turn the corks into a homemade corkboard as a way to recycle the corks. All you need is a board to mount the corks to, a glue gun, some glue sticks and a bunch of corks. It's super easy to make just take your collected corks and arrange them however you want them for the corkboard, be as creative as you want! I found a nice photo of this finished project @ http://www.43things.com/entrie s/view/1645230.
Once you have the corks arranged how you want them get out your glue gun and begin gluing the corks to the board. Before you know it you will have a nicely crafted handmade & recycled corkboard!
You can easily turn an old t-shirt into a tank top today, without sewing. All you need to do is cut straight across the shirt from one armpit to the other. Next cut the bottom hem from the very bottom of the shirt, this will be the straps. Cut the hem in half so you have two strips. Next make 4 small slits where you want to attach the straps to the tank top. Insert one end of the strap into the slit you made and knot the end so it stays in place, repeat this till each strap end is tied and inserted and you are done!
