SECRET ADMIRER

Jessica was up to her eyeballs in homework. It was already close to midnight, and she was so sleepy she thought she might just topple over and crash on her keyboard.
"Why does everything have to be due tomorrow?!" she whined to herself, "It's Valentines Day for Pete's sake!" Her cell phone suddenly buzzed noisily on her desk;Jessica almost jumping out of her skin. "Who could be texting me at this time of night?" she wondered as she flipped open her pink phone. "Hey," she read, "How are you doing on your homework?" It was her best friend Tessa. Jessica smiled as she texted Tessa back. At least she wasn't the only one who was up! "Why are you crying?" Jackie had asked her. "Go away!" Tessa had muttered through moist tissues. Jackie, however, never quite got the hint that sometimes she wasn't wanted around. Jessica's parents were great, too. Most of the time, anyway. Sometimes her Dad was overprotective of her and her Mom could be really annoying about the
