Truth: Ideas require application

How do we apply truth? How can higher truths be applied to the world we find ourselves in? Are they even practical in any real way? Can these truths help me to solve my everyday life problems, and perhaps to succeed in this life where I find myself now, and to succeed with a measure of happiness, to go along with it all?

I had a very simple example of the finding of knowledge, and then applying it as a truth, just this morning. I needed to contact my local bank, but in these days the only number listed anywhere is a general enquiries number that directs you to a general enquiry area, that could be based anywhere in Australia where I live, or maybe even overseas. So I obtained the phone number from the Telephone directory, and I rang it up and then asked for the number of my local branch. I was given this number and so was able to contact the manager in my local branch of the bank. How is this applying truth then, and is knowledge really a part of truth or just it's residue?

As in my example with the bank, we obtain or hear truth first, and then because then we already know this truth, when an application or situation then presents itself to you in your life, you can then utilise and apply this truth that you now understand. So never looking for and trying to understand truth, just because you cannot immediately see its application to your life is no justification for not trying to learn new truths. Truth is like an iceberg. When you first see it, you only see the tip of it sticking out from the ocean of love, where it always reside in. Then at this stage of discovery, you don't know the enormous truths that are still hidden and connected to this truth that you have now located. So never let this truth go, but allow it to keep revealing itself to you, and eventually you will see the whole or bigger picture, and so the application of greater truth will come to you as a part of the love that always brings experiences to you. And remember all truth only ever resides in and is a part of love.

Think now of all the great discoveries and theories in the long history of our Earth. Usually it is only at a later time that applications of these truths can be envisaged and taken advantage of. Truth comes first and then its application. If you try to apply half truths in a practical way you will usually only create problems for yourself. It's better to await the emergence of the greater truth, and to obtain a fuller more complete understanding of it, before trying to utilise
