Testimonies: How the Internet can bring friendship across hostile borders

The beauty of Internet communications is something that the masses are starting to really accept and utilize in a different way. in the days of chat rooms, people could meet someone and make friends with people without diluting the conversation with looks to be judged, voices to be annoyed by, or the feeling of being cornered by a conversation. People learned they could learn things about people that they wouldn't usually through online communication

Due to this, and now with the growing mass of ways to communicate aka, web cams, free voice chat and such, that people can reach limitless areas and communicate with the world on a whole. the net has no borders, only banners and domains. People can utilize this in the real world, and cross those borders n the digital world, and come to a close understanding with someone worlds apart in culture, and taste.

If someone can learn to type and surf in a third world country, and they start to get their eyes opened to the possibilities of the world around them, they are going to be dramatically effected by the information they ingest, and thus effect their surroundings in their town or village. All it takes is opening the eyes of one person to effect four around them, and giving them the opportunity to take advantage of this technology could greatly improve their circumstances.
