this reduces the risk of being caught out alone in a target rich environment by allowing the possibility of one of your team members succumbing to an attack.
REMEMBER, ONLY A SHOT TO THE HEAD OR BRAIN STEM WILL STOP THE UNDEAD

Ensure you are well armed and have plentiful ammunition. The minimum per person requirements for a patrol are :
1 x Semi Auto Rifle (M16, SA80, H&K MP5 or equivalent)+ 200 rounds ball ammunition

1 x Semi Auto Pistol (Browning, Sig Saur P226, Berreta or equivalent)+ 50 rounds ammunition
4 x Hand Grenades HE only (White Phosphorous grenades will just set alight the undead, creating more hazard to your safety)
1 x Combat Knife

In addition one member on each patrol should be equipped with a Franchi Spa Military Gauge Shotgun for massed targets, and there should be a minimum of 2 (two) LAW rockets for a patrol involving city environments. This will allow rapid access to buildings for escape purposes if you become trapped in a "no exit" scenario.

4. *Follow Orders*
This should be self explanatory for a professional armed force but there were occasions in 2011 where the chain of command broke down. Your officers are in direct communication with the Z-Force headquarters, their directives are issued personally from the Commander-In-Chief and must be carried out without question. Remember that they will have the "big picture" in front of them and will be utilising this information to ensure your actions are correct.

Any evidence of fratricide will be severely dealt with.

5. *Stay Positive*
At times the situation may appear untenable, remember the US military does not give up easily. In past conflicts we have been outnumbered and still ground our way out the back door to survive again. You will survive by following your training and the commands of your officers.

Zombies are not capable of rational thought, you will be smarter and faster in reflexes than the undead, this is your greatest asset. By careful use of firepower and guile you will defeat your enemy and survive in the face of extreme danger.

6. *Survival Considerations*
a. AVOID BEING BITTEN
b. ENSURE TARGETS ARE GENUINE
c. AVOID DEAD ENDS AND HIGH RISE BUILDINGS
d. WORK AS A TEAM
e. BRAIN DEACTIVATION IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP AN INFECTED
f. STAY POSITIVE AND YOU WILL SURVIVE
