How to cry on cue

In most cases it is not always easy to cry on cue. It takes pride and skills to be able to do it. In my recent theater days, there were times when I would have to cry on cue, and I have always done it. I usually find myself blacking out the rest of the people around me and diving into the character. I would become that person, I am playing when I read the script. If it called for me to cry, then I would cry. I knew how to feel and think as the character did. The script was my manual in emotions and I tried to follow it to the exact. Most Actors feel the same way I did, especially when it came to playing their characters. They took their craft very seriously and so did I. I enjoyed being someone else and it felt wonderful. Especially, after having a hard day, I would get up on the stage and be somebody different. It was a great experience, when the lights are shinning in your face and all you can hear is the music. No onw will understand it, until they have actually gotten up in front of a real audience. No matter what, on stage or in front of the screen, you are no longer the person who came in to practice. But the character who is no longer just a script. The writer wrote the script with the intention that someone will play each character with passion. So, it is up to you to make that happen. So remember that.
